5th and 6th Class were trying out the new Giant Polydron set. They had great fun working in pairs and groups on some very imaginative creations and making 3D shapes they’ve been studying in Maths.

In conjunction with our Santa walk tomorrow, the Health Promoting School’s team will be sending out this week our updated Healthy Eating Policy with a leaflet on recommended healthy lunch boxes from Safe Food. We hope to implement this policy after Christmas.
Swimming starts after Christmas on Wednesday the 14th of January for 6 weeks in Clonmel pool. Pupils from 3rd to 6th Class participate in swimming lessons. More details to follow after Christmas.
Zumba starts with Breda Kirby for 6 weeks from Wednesday the 14th of January for Infants up to 2nd Class. This is a new activity for the school, so we’re looking forward to trying it out.
Well done to the pupils who took part in the recent Munster Schools’ Swimming Gala in Limerick. Abby and Issy Boxwell, Megan O’Meara and Michaela Phelan represented the school fantastically on the day with some great individual swims.
