Fashion Show Tomorrow Night

The models are ready, the outfits are picked and the catwalk is ready for the Ballyneale Fashion Show taking place tomorrow night at 7.30 p.m. in the Carraig Hotel in Carrick-on-Suir.

There are still tickets for sale from the school or at Clery’s Newsagents and The Tudor Artisan Hub in Carrick-on-Suir or Lisadobber Pub.  Tickets are also available on the door on the night.  Tickets are €10, children are €5 and a family ticket is €20.

The event is to raise funds for a new hard court in the school. A sincere thanks to all the organisers and volunteer models.   Your support on the night will be much appreciated.

Rathgormack Quiz

There will be a quiz in Rathgormack tomorrow night [Thursday the 19th] at 7.30 p.m. The school will be represented by two teams. The first team is Maeve McGuigan, Oisín Crowley, Abby Boxwell and Eimhin Hanrahan. The second team is Seán O’Meara, Keelan Hanrahan, Erin Hanrahan and Holly Coburn.

Knitting

Knitting starts back next Wednesday for 6 weeks [before and after Easter.] We will be making hand puppets, concentrating on the sewing skills of tacking. Pupils will also be shown how to make a tapestry using a latch hook. Knits will include chickens, eggs, shamrocks and bunting.

Soccer

Soccer takes place next Thursday after school with Eugene and Ian for boys and girls. The FAI Primary Schools Soccer Competition takes place in Littleton mid March. We are entering a boys and girls team in this competition.

Penance

The First Penance is on Tuesday the 3rd March at 7pm for 2nd Class students.

Zumba

Zumba is now finished for Junior to 2nd Class pupils. They really enjoyed the last six weeks with Breda Kirby who worked extremely well with the pupils. Thank you to Breda for all her hard work.
