A debate took place in the school today on the motion of ‘There should be an hour of exercise every day in school’. Ballyneale were opposing this motion.
Maeve, Oisín and Sarah were up against students from Rathgormack school who travelled to the school for the debate. By a very tight margin Rathgormack came out the winners and they now progress on to the second round of the debating competition.
Well done to all those involved. We hope it is an experience that they will benefit from.
