There will be a 1916 Flag Raising Ceremony at the school on Tuesday 15th March at 12 noon. The tricolour will be raised outside the school simultaneously with all schools throughout the country. This will be followed by a reading of the Proclamation and a drama performed by the children. Thanks to Mary O’Hanlon. The children will then release balloons purchased by the Parents Association. The Parents Association has kindly agreed to provide refreshments in the staffroom afterwards. Donations of cakes, buns etc. may be left in the school on Tuesday morning.
