Today is the last day of the school term 2016/2017. We wish all the sixth class pupils leaving us this year the very best. We will miss them! Have a happy and safe summer break and we will see you all when the school reopens on Thursday the 31st August.

Active Schools Week has been a busy week in the school. During the week infants to second class took part in an educational trail around the school grounds. Luke Broxson, 5th class was presented with a copy of “Heritage and History of our Schools” and a certificate last Tuesday as part of the Write a Book project ran by the Waterford Teachers Centre. On a beautiful summer’s day, 5th and 6th class pupils hiked up Slievenamon yesterday as part of Active Schools Week. It was a tough climb in the warm weather so they were glad to reach the top!
