End of Term
Today is the last day of the school term 2016/2017.
We wish all the sixth class pupils leaving us this year the very best. We will miss them!
Have a happy and safe summer break and we will see you all when the school reopens on Thursday the 31st August.
Well done
Well done to Emily Walsh who won a trophy and a medal for gymnastics on Monday the 19th June.
Sports Day
A reminder that the School Sports Day will take place on Monday.
World War 2 Talk
Thank you to Eugene O’Keeffe for a very informative talk that he gave to fifth and sixth class pupils on World War 2.
Active Schools Week
Active Schools Week has been a busy week in the school.
During the week infants to second class took part in an educational trail around the school grounds.
A soccer league took place at lunch times and the final will be held next week.
Relaxation activities were enjoyed by the pupils.
Infants and first and second went on a Teddy Bear’s Picnic – thank you to Helen and Nicola for helping with this. Infants had some shared reading time with the senior classes and built some creative constructions.
Pottery teacher Finn gave a very interesting and exciting lesson to the third to sixth classes.
We now look forward to the Sports Day on Monday!
