Happy Christmas and new year to all.
The school will reopen on Monday the 8th of January.
It was a damp morning in Ballyneale but all the pupils, parents, extended family and staff enjoyed the festive Santa walk around the block.
Thank you to all parents who gave up their time to prepare hot chocolate and healthy treats for all pupils after the walk.
A very big thank you to the voluntary organisation, The Order of Malta who made sure that everyone was safely escorted around the block.
Callum, Jack Bourke, Jack Kinsella and James O’Meara represented the school in the County Finals of the GAA quiz in Thurles Sarsfields on November 26th.
Past pupil Jack Phelan was presented with teaching aids as donated by the Student Council. He will use these materials when he travels to India in January as part of the Flame of Hope initiative to help children in need. Best of luck to Jack in this worthwhile venture.
Reminder about our annual Santa Walk which takes place around Ballyneale this Friday December 22nd at 9.30am. All are welcome. Hot chocolate will be served by the parents at the school afterwards.
Wear your Santa hat!
Kool Schools Health and Fitness lessons will commence for Junior Infants to 2nd Class on Wednesday the 17th January for seven weeks. These lessons are subsidised by the Parents Association and so will cost €10 per child for the seven lessons.
