With the dawn chorus starting up as we head into spring time, the senior classes have been working on projects on different birds. Here is a selection of their finished projects so far.
We will be making a bug hotel for all our creepy crawlies in the school grounds in the coming months. The Health Promoting Team are looking for people to bring in any unwanted and spare natural materials to use for the bug hotel. Past pupils Ava Cooney and Keelan Hanrahan were on the Presentation Secondary school team that recently won the All-Ireland competition in Spikeball. Congratulations to them, a great achievement.

Pupils are participating in the Green Schools Irish Water Poster competition. They will be designing posters under the theme of, “Water and your Environment.” Regional winners will receive a tablet computer and national winners receive €500 for their school. Closing date is 2nd March.
