There was great excitement at Ballyneale NS on Wednesday 9th October, as our past pupil and All-Ireland winner Angela McGuigan paid a visit to our school with the All-Ireland cup.
Angela played on the Intermediate Tipperary football team in Croke Park on Sunday 15th September.
Angela spoke to the children about her time in school and in particular, her interest and determination to football throughout her time at Ballyneale NS and thereafter. Angela was happy to answer all the children’s questions, have some photos taken and sign autographs.
GAA is a huge part of our school life and the children were delighted with the experience.
Huge congratulations to Angela and the Tipperary team on their great success this year!
