World Bee Day

Today, 20th May, is World Bee Day ๐Ÿ.

According to the Carrick on Suir Lions Club, the bumble bee found around Carrick and surrounding areas is the Carder Bee.

About one third of our bee species in Ireland is threatened with extinction. This could have a detrimental effect on food production. That is why the All Ireland Pollinator Plan is so important. Everyone has a role to play. ๐ŸŒน๐ŸŒธ๐ŸŒผ
