5th/6th Class entered the above competition this week. There are two €200 vouchers to be spent on chess equipment for the school to be won. Below are the photos entered into the competition. The pupils put a lot of effort into designing the area around their chess boards and also making a chess piece headband. Unfortunately, the day of the photo was bitterly cold and we could not play a human chess piece game. Perhaps this is a project for a future date??
