Gaelic Football

Well done to the Under 13 Boys Football team who now go through to the County Semi-Final after beating Tankerstown today.  They meet Borrisoleigh this Friday at 12pm in Cashel.  The winners will play Rosegreen in the County Final.

Under 13 Boys Football Championship Well done to the Under 13 Football team who beat Mullinahone and Moyglass today. Ballyneale 5 – 11 Moyglass 1 – 1 Ballyneale 2- 11 Mullinahone 2 – 2 The team’s next match is against Rosegreen which will be played before half term.    

Primary Schools Cross Country

Primary Schools Cross Country Date: Wed October 22nd in Marlfield Clonmel. Classes: 3rd – 6th Class. Group: Medium Schools Group 1. 3rd/4th Class – 600m (Race 7 & 8). 5th/6th Class – 800m (Race 19/20). The entry fee is three euro per athlete. Start Time: 10.30am.    

Under 13 Girls Football Blitz

Well done to all the girls who played in the Roinn E Under 13 Blitz in Moyle Rovers.  We won 3 matches against Knockavilla, New Inn GNS and the Gaelscoil Carrick-on-Suir.  Unfortunately we were narrowly beaten by Lisronagh who now go on to the County Final.


Knitting returns after the Halloween break for 3rd to 6th class boys and girls.  Knitting takes place Wednesdays from 3-4pm. Any adult who would be interested in helping out with the knitting can contact the school.
