Hurling Blitz
There is a Hurling Blitz on Wednesday April 5th in Moyle Rovers for the U13s, they are training very well each week under the keen eye of Cornelius McFadden.

Kool Schools & Swimming
We had a busy period in the school recently, on Wednesdays we had Kool School lessons with one half of the school while the other half went swimming. Yoga
We are very excited that Yoga is starting at the school on March 7th for four weeks for Junior Infants to Second Class.
Soccer Champs
The Girls took part in 5 a-side tournament in Cahir Park on Friday February 17th. They played very well throughout the day, improving with every game. Having played Newcastle, Gaelscoil Carrick and Ardfinnan in the group stages they qualified for latter stages of the competition and beat a very good Cahir side in the semi-final.Continue reading “Soccer Champs”

Tae Kwan Do
Congratulations to Michaela, Jessica and Dylan Phelan who competed in a ITF Scion Tae Kwan Do competition which was held in Neptune Stadium Cork last weekend. Michaela came 1st in sparring and 3rd in patterns, Jessica came 3rd in patterns and 3rd in sparring and Dylan came 2nd in patterns. Well done!
Athletics
Congratulations to Jack Bourke who was involved with Carrick Athletics Club last weekend in Nenagh, he was part of the relay team that placed silver in the U12 Boys 4 x 100m relay. They will now compete in the nationals in March. We wish him and his team mates the very best of luck.
Spikeball
Well done to all who took part in the Spikeball Blitz today January in Moyle Rovers. We did really well in all competitions and narrowly missed out reaching the regional finals with the mixed team losing their decider.
