Knitting Display in Library

Knitting creations from Ms. Whelan’s after school knitting class are now on display in Carrick-on-Suir library over the Easter break.  Thank you to all volunteers from the community who gave their time to teach this class.

There is one week left in the knitting lessons after school. Knitted goods will be on display in the foyer next week.

 

Knitting: 

Knitting lessons have just started back and will be held each Wednesday until we break for Easter.  Thanks to all our volunteers:  Anne Strappe, Vera Power, Mary Blanchfield, Sheila Power, Caroline Dowley, Nicola Phelan and Mary Walsh for all their help and to Miss Whelan for organising the lessons.

Knitting lessons concluded before the Christmas break – You might have seen the display of work in the reception area(picture above).  Everyone really enjoyed the craft, especially the children. Thanks again to all our volunteers – Miss Whelan, Mary Walsh, Anne Strappe, Mary Blanchfield, Nicola Phelan, Caroline Dowley, Sheila Power and Vera Power for all their help.

Knitting will commence the week we return after Mid-term, it will be held every Wednesday from 3 – 4 p.m. from then.
