STEM Education
5th and 6th class pupils enjoying STEM education packs provided by Clonmel library. The pupils completed two activities, electric art lighthouse paper circuit and paper chromatography.

Team Hope Shoebox Appeal
Thank you to all those who brought in donations as part of the Team Hope Shoebox appeal. They will be collected early next week from Team Hope.
Halloween Drama
A massive well done to all the talented performers from 5th and 6th who put on a very enjoyable performance of Roald Dahl’s The Witches today. All classes got a chance to watch them in action. Well done to all involved.
Sponsorship
Sincere thanks to Darren Lyons and Sinead Blackmore , Lyons Bus and Coach Hire, for the generous sponsorship of a set of sport singlets for the school. The singlets were designed by two of our past pupils – Maisie Power and Alvin Zheng. They will be put to great use!
Old Mobile Phones/Clothes/Stamps
We continue to collect old mobile phones, clothes and stamps. We would be particularly grateful for donations of clothes. These can be dropped into the school at any time. There will be a clothes collection after Halloween.
Fukuroi School, Japan
5th and 6th class are exchanging correspondence, stories and artwork with Fukuroi School in Japan. This came about as a result of the Olympics Challenge which the students took part in last year. Thank you to Miss Whelan for all her hard work on this project.

Science Week
Lismore Primary Mobile Science Workshops will conduct science workshops with the children on Friday 26th November. Workshop themes are as follows: Junior/Senior Infants – Junior Science 1st/2nd Class – Chemistry Kids 3rd/4th Class – Amazing Engineering 5th/6th Class – Shocking Science The duration of each workshop is 1 hour.
