Irish Minor Swimming Championships
Congratulations to Eibhlís Bartley, a third class pupil, on qualifying to compete in the Irish Minor Schools Championships which takes place on 12 th February 2017 at the National Aquatic Centre, Dublin. Eibhlís will compete in the 50m butterfly event. We are all very proud of her. Best of luck Eibhlís!

Soccer
Cahir Park AFC Primary Schools Under 13 Tournament opening round was held today the 16th January 2017. All games were played on Cahir Park AFC’s new all weather pitch. We entered two teams into the competition. All involved enjoyed the 7-aside tournament.
Kool Schools Health & Fitness
Kool School lessons will commence on Wednesday 11th January for seven weeks for all pupils in Junior Infants to 2nd Class. The Parents’ Association will subsidise these lessons and the cost will be €10.00 per pupil. The children must wear a tracksuit on the day and also on Fridays.
Swimming (3rd – 6th)
Swimming lessons at Clonmel Swimming Pool commence on Wednesday 11TH January at 10.00 a.m. The Parents’ Association will subsidise these lessons and the cost will be €30.00 per pupil. CD Launch
Michael Murphy’s CD launch will be held on Friday November 18th in Ballyneale Community Hall at 8 p.m. All are welcome, entry is free. All proceeds are to be kindly donated to the school.
Fundraising Concert
Local music acts raised the roof in St. Mary’s Church, Ballyneale on Friday in aid of our school.
