Pupils from infants up to 2nd class put on a show of their zumba moves on Tuesday to parents, grandparents and fellow students. They even got some of the audience moving too!

Bird Boxes and Feeders
With the help of parent, Eugene McGuigan and secondary student, Jack Connolly, each class now has their very own bird box for the garden birds who come into the school garden. The pupils also put up bird feeders outside the classroom windows so they can now easily spot the feathered visitors to the school.
St. Valentine’s Day Art
Pupils in Ms. Dempsey’s 1st and 2nd class made Valentines Day cards for their parents.
Be Active After School
Pupils of 1st and 2nd class have started gymnastic lessons after school with Ms. Whelan as part of the Be Active programme. This will run for six weeks on a Tuesday after school.
School Trip-1st and 2nd Class
The first and second class children enjoyed their school trip to Lismore heritage centre. First the children took part in a woodland trail, whereby they explored the ancient remains of structures long ago. They enjoyed the art and crafts activities as well as the science experiments. Zumba and Swimming Next Week
Zumba for the junior classes and swimming for 3rd to 6th Class begin next week on Wednesday the 14th January.
Be Active After-School Programme
Pupils in 1st and 2nd Class will be taking part in the Be Active After School Activity Programme starting on the 21st January. This free programme is part of the Health Promoting Schools Initiative.
