As part of Maths Week pupils of Infants and 5th and 6th came up with some maths problems based on the school environment.
Luke Broxson, 5th class was presented with a copy of “Heritage and History of our Schools” and a certificate last Tuesday as part of the Write a Book project ran by the Waterford Teachers Centre. Cake decorating lessons will have its last session next week. The children have absolutely loved decorating the cakes in their own style. We want to thank Siobhan and Sharon for all the effort that goes into preparing such sessions.
The girls will be taking part in a blitz in Gortnahue on Wednesday April 5th, they are grouped with Donaskeagh, Rahealty and Gortnahue. There is no blitz final, top team goes through to the county final.
There is a boys U13 blitz to be held on April 7th, we share a group with Fethard, Gaelscoil Carrick and Gortnahoe.
