Third and Fourth Class were asked to invent or create something new at home and bring it into school. They came up some very clever projects. Well done to all and thank you to those who helped out at home.

Cake and Book Sale Tomorrow
Come along to the cake and book sale tomorrow from 11am until 3pm. There will be lots of donated goodies and books for sale for the Evan Hickey charity. Junior Infants were helping out today by sorting the small, medium and big books donated and making playdough cakes and buns [not for sale!]
Halloween and Autumn Art

Maths Week
As part of Maths Week pupils of Infants and 5th and 6th came up with some maths problems based on the school environment.

Well done
A big well done to Sarah Bartley in first class who swam in the All Ireland’s Under 8 Freestyle swimming competition in May. Sarah also won the counties Under 8 Sprint in Athletics and will now be representing Tipperary in the All Ireland’s in August. Transition to Secondary School
Parent Noelle Tobin will speak to the sixth class pupils next Thursday about moving to secondary school in September. This is a great opportunity for the pupils to learn more about what to expect, timetabling, subjects etc. Thank you to Noelle for taking time to do this.
Cake Decorating
Cake decorating lessons will have its last session next week. The children have absolutely loved decorating the cakes in their own style. We want to thank Siobhan and Sharon for all the effort that goes into preparing such sessions.
