The Girls took part in 5 a-side tournament in Cahir Park on Friday February 17th. They played very well throughout the day, improving with every game. Debating Update
Unfortunately, the debating team narrowly lost out to Clerihan last Tuesday 14th February, and so their journey ends. As a group they worked very hard preparing their arguments and gave it their best effort.

After their winning start the debating team are busy preparing for the next round of the Concern Primary Debating Inter-Schools Competition.

The annual primary schools quiz will take place on Friday 27th January in the Carraig Hotel at 7 p.m. We are entering two teams in the competition and we wish them the very best of luck.
Athletics
Congratulations to Jack Bourke who was involved with Carrick Athletics Club last weekend in Nenagh, he was part of the relay team that placed silver in the U12 Boys 4 x 100m relay. They will now compete in the nationals in March. We wish him and his team mates the very best of luck.

Irish Minor Swimming Championships
Congratulations to Eibhlís Bartley, a third class pupil, on qualifying to compete in the Irish Minor Schools Championships which takes place on 12 th February 2017 at the National Aquatic Centre, Dublin.
