St. Vincent De Paul will be giving food and supplies to needy families in the Carrick-on-Suir local area over Christmas. There is a hamper in the school reception for those wishing to donate non-perishable items.

Shoebox Appeal
Thank you to all those who brought in shoe boxes for the Shoebox Appeal. They have now been collected and will be delivered to needy children in Eastern Europe and Africa.

Flame of Hope Presentation
Past pupil Jack Phelan was presented with teaching aids as donated by the Student Council. He will use these materials when he travels to India in January as part of the Flame of Hope initiative to help children in need. Best of luck to Jack in this worthwhile venture.
St. Vincent DePaul
There is now a collection box for non-perishable goods in the school’s reception for those wishing to donate to the St. Vincent DePaul Christmas Food Appeal for the needy of Carrick-on-Suir and the surrounding areas. The donations will be collected on Friday December 15th.
Team Hope
The Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal took place again this year. Thank you to all families who contributed towards their appeal.
Evan Hickey Cheque Presentation
Joe Hickey, father of Evan Hickey came in to the school yesterday to receive a cheque for €860 that was raised through the cake and book sale organised by The Student Council.
