Well done to all who took part.

Easter Walk and Egg Hunt

Thank you to all parents and family members who attended the Easter walk around the block this morning.  We had a lovely spring day that made it all the more enjoyable.  Classes took part in an Easter egg hunt around the school grounds after the walk.

The school reopens on Monday the 9th March.

Soccer training is continuing.  We thank Ian and Sandra Sheehan and Miss Whelan for coaching.  Three teams (boys and girls) recently represented the school in Cahir as part of the FAI Primary Schools 5-a-side Competition (South Tipperary Qualifiers).  One of the teams has reached the finals stage of the County Tipperary Qualifier which will be held in Littleton on 26th April and we wish them the very best of luck.

Bug Hotel

The Bug Hotel is currently under construction at the school.  We will be filling the ‘rooms’ next week with various natural materials.  If anyone has any of the following please bring it in next week.

  • Pine cones
  • bamboo canes
  • fallen bark
  • sticks
  • straw
  • moss
  • broken terracotta pots

Thank you to all those who have brought in materials already.
