Drumming Concert

On Tuesday the pupils gave a very enjoyable drumming concert to mark the end of their lessons with Rhythm and Shakes.

Drumming Concert

The Rhythm and Shakes concert takes place next Tuesday the 13th at 2.30pm. All parents, grandparents are welcome to attend.

Drumming

Rhythm and Shakes are currently giving drumming classes to all in the school. We’re looking forward to the end of classes show already!

Rhythm and Shakes drumming lessons begin next Tuesday the 2nd May for 1st to 6th class. They will take place every Tuesday until the 13th June. Junior and Senior Infants will take lessons for 3 weeks starting on the 9th May.

Carrick’s Musical Society’s Art Competition

Congratulations to Sophie McGrath who was over-all winner in the drawing competition. The theme of which was to draw a picture of the Delta Nu’s New Havard Sorority House. Sophie won a family ticket to the performance and the drawing will feature on the Society’s social media and in the productions souvenir programme. Christmas Pageant

Artist in Residence Programme

Margueritte Kent has finished our project “Seasons on the River Suir”. We were delighted with Margueritte and the children and staff learnt lots of new art processes. The wall hangings will be on display in Carrick-on-Suir Library in January 2017 and we are looking forward to seeing the children’s work being displayed in public.
