Under 13 girls are participating in a 7 a side blitz on Tuesday the 2nd October in Moyle Rovers.
Cross country takes place for 3rd to 6th classes in Thurles this Wednesday the 26th of September.
Congratulations to Sarah Bartley who had fantastic results over the summer in the All Irelands Athletics in Tullamore. She got gold in U9 – 4 x 100m relays, silver in U10 4 x 100m relays and bronze in U9 – 60m sprint. A great achievement well done Sarah.
Drama starts this Wednesday coming with Amy Hill for all classes. It will run over the next number of weeks.

Rebecca Power and John Bourke have kindly offered to organise a Cycle Fundraiser to raise funds for the school. This year it will take place in September. Your support would be much appreciated. The annual sports day took place yesterday in the school. In the morning teams rotated in station activities and in the afternoon they competed in the field events of egg and spoon, sack, three legged race and running races. Thank you to the Parents Association for organising drinks and fruit during the day.
A mixed team from 3rd and 4th class took part in a GAA Garda Blitz on Wednesday. They were up against stiff competition but never gave up. The pupils were given hot food and refreshments during the day and a certificate for their participation.
Girls from 3rd to 6th will be taking part in an International Girls Day event in Carrick on Suir RFC this Monday the 25th June. The girls will get a chance to meet with International and Munster players and take part in skills, games and fun.
