Soccer
Congratulations to our team who competed in the County Tipperary 5 a side soccer competition. Out of 160 teams they got to the final four. Well done all.
Primary Game
Jack Bourke has gotten through to Round Two in the Football Primary Game. Congratulations to him on this achievement.
Upcoming Sports Events
May 4th – U13 Hurling against Lisronagh in Monroe at 10.30am. Inter Primary Schools Track and Field Competition takes place in Clonmel on Wednesday the 16th May. U11 Primay Schools Soccer competition takes place in Cahir in the first week of June. Training starting next week.
School Tour-5th and 6th
The school tour for 5th and 6th is to the Watershed in Kilkenny on Friday the 8th June. Payment to be made to the school in full on or before Thursdsay the 7th June. Thank you to the Parents Association who have subsidised this tour.
Aistear
Junior infants busy in their stations. This month the theme is The hospital.
Dogs Trust
Selection of dog blankets already created for dogs trust.
Retreat
5th and 6th recently attended a confirmation retreat with Sister Antoinette in Waterford. An enjoyable day was had by all.
Congratulations
Congratulations to past pupils Mark O’Meara and Jamie Holloway. Mark O’Meara has been chosen as Captain of the Tipperary Minor Football team and Jamie Holloway was selected for the panel of the minor football team. A great achievement and we wish them further success.
Spikeball
Spikeball practice takes place weekly after school in preparation for the community games.
