As part of Engineers Week 2023, Engineers Larry Douglas and Linda Britton came into the school today to talk about engineering and their work at Abbott Vascular in Clonmel. They showed the pupils some of the medical devices that Abbott manufacture and spoke about the range of engineering careers that the pupils could go into in the future. Larry and Linda also showed the pupils a demonstration of 3D printing which the pupils very much enjoyed. Thank you to Abbott Vascular in Clonmel for providing some nice goodies and books for the pupils also.
