Our school boasts four raised garden beds. These beds were funded by the local Pharmaceutical Company Merck Sharpe and Dohme. They were constructed entirely by the voluntary work of the Parents’ Association.
Children in two classes are taught in spring in how to prepare the soil and sow a variety of vegetable crops including potatoes, onions, lettuce, beans and carrots.
We are grateful for the voluntary help of parents who come to the school to enhance the gardening skills of the children.
