The Parents Association held their flag day recently.  They made a donation of €2,500 to the school.  Without this money from the Parents Association we would be unable to offer all the activities currently available to your child at the school.  Currently we have dance lessons facilitated by Ciara MacDonald.  These cost €18 per child (6 lessons) to the school but are subsidised by the Parents Association so children pay €10 each.  We also have Lismore Primary Mobile Science Workshop visiting the school in November.  This costs €4 per child and will be subsidised by the Parents Association so children will pay €2 each. 

A sincere thank you to Nicola Phelan and Helen Boxwell who did trojan work as Parent Association Chairperson and Secretary respectively over the last few years and who will have completed their terms of office this month.  The Parents Association will hold their AGM at the school on Tuesday Nov 2^nd when a new chairperson and secretary will be elected.  The Parents Association are looking forward to seeing you there.
