5 a side Soccer Competition

The 5-a-side Soccer Competition took place in Littleton on Monday.  The pupils played some wonderful football and showed great passing skills.  They came through their group but unfortunately were beaten in the final.  A big thank you to Ian Sheehan who has been training the team.  We will now look forward to training the 3rd and 4th Class pupils for their competition.

Soccer Finals

The girls competed in a 5-a-side Soccer County Final today in Littleton.  They played against a tough Thomastown team in the final who they had beaten earlier in the day in the group stages.

Unfortunately in the final Thomastown got the better out of us.  We ran out of steam.  This is a huge achievement for the girls to reach the County Finals.  A big thank you to Ian, Eugene and Ms. Whelan for all the coaching sessions with the girls.
